Our Northwest Regional Library

The Library, founded in April 1973, and now located on the Southeast corner of University Drive and Sample Road in Coral Springs, Florida, is one of Broward county’s largest  public library.

It has over 150,000 items including books, journals, videos, historical artifacts.

 

January 2009

Approximately 47,000 visitors entered the library;  65,000 items were checked out during the month.
Over 17,000 reference questions were answered by staff.  Over 2,000 adults attended 84 programs,
2,200 children attended 102 programs, and 3,000 customers attended computer training classes

The Friends of Broward County Library, Inc. is an organization that leads local Friends chapters in library advocacy - promoting community understanding and support of library needs and services.
